The Underlying Causes of Addiction

Mental health symptoms can be masked by the use of alcohol and other drugs. Sub-acute detoxification is used to medically stabilize the patient, followed by a short-term residential program that immerses the individual in a structured, psycho-education treatment environment. Our Clinical Team works to identify underlying mental health issues and provide individualized treatment through individual, group and family sessions. Some of the issues our team identifies:





If a psychiatric problem is suspected, our therapist’s arrange an on-site psychiatric consultation with our Medical Director. Treatment of co-occurring issues is available in residential and outpatient recovery programs. Our Care Coordinators can provide referrals for post-discharge mental health care to help the patient maintain sustained recovery. This comprehensive approach to addiction recovery sets Livengrin apart from other drug rehab centers.
