For clinicians to increase comfort and awareness of their strengths and areas that need to be improved when dealing with sexuality. Also, to consider how a client’s sexuality is affected in addiction compared to recovery.
Training Objectives:
- Participants will increase comfort level when addressing sexuality needs with their clients.
- Participants will develop tools to do a needs assessment with their clients specific to sexuality issues.
- Participants will explore their value system and personal bias regarding sexuality.
